About.

I was nine years old when I began singing in church. I’ve been singing for the Lord ever since. There have been times when I was more driven than others, but it took being completely broken to get me where I am today. My belief, love and thankfulness have never been more real. Through Him I am a better person, able to give back more compassion and empathy to others that are hurting. He was with me through it all, and I am so thankful to be used by such an Almighty God today.

Before I knew what would be in or on this CD I knew God wanted me to do it. He knew what it was to be about. I knew I needed many hours alone with God, reading His word, listening to His voice and doing just as this CD is entitled, be still. My written message to you has to be His, too. In John 3:8, Jesus used the wind as an illustration of the work of the Holy Spirit... “The wind blows where it wishes, and you know the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." (As the wind seemingly blows where it will, so the Holy Spirit sovereignly works.) It is only through the Holy Spirit that God can use my “wind" to touch each of you, right where you are.  I love that verse, and I am so thankful that God has let me experience His presence and share it. Most of all, I feel led to encourage you to seek a real presence of God in your life. Spend time with Him so He becomes an absolute in your every day living. Our world is so fast and reckless, time with God is imperative to both our salvation and every day quality of life. Counteract this perverse world we live in with thoughts of what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable — if there is any virtue, or anything praise worthy. (Philippians 4:8) Just time out recognizing our many blessings of a loving spouse, family, friends, and such would go so far in our daily appreciation of God’s omniscient power. And when you’re really ready to pray ... “When you pray go into your room, and when you have shut the door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who see's in secret will reward you openly. And

when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think they will be heard for their many words. Therefore, do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him." (Matthew 6:6)  I am crying tears of joy and fulfillment as I close and pray that God tugs at your heart as you hear more than I could ever record. I believe these songs that have spoken so strongly to my heart through the years, are important to today’s world. They have a message, a lesson and inspiration from the Holy Spirit that has lasted decades. May I also ask for your many prayers as I try and follow Him.

May God Bless You,

Tina
